Overview
People who are looking for your help show up as a Yellow Chalice on your map. You can press the M key to open your map and look for it. Once you're close to the person who needs help, you'll be able to see a Glowing Chalice Icon hovering over his or her head. You can interact with these Questgivers to obtain a new quest.

Bestowal conditions
- In order for the first of these quests to be available at the quest bestowers, the following criteria must be met:
- You must be a Level 1 character
- Brother Malden must have been asked to bind your spirit
- Heyton's Rest must NOT be complete
- In order for the second of these quests to be available at the quest bestowers, the following criteria must be met:
- You must be a Level 1 character
- Brother Malden must have been asked to bind your spirit
- Heyton's Rest must be complete
- You must have talked to your Class Trainer (unless you are a Druid or Artificer)
- The Storehouse's Secret must NOT be complete

Tips and Misc
- There are two separate versions of this quest: one pointing to Kaja Bauerdatter and one pointing to Linus Weir. These are independent quests so the journal can have both versions completed at the same time.
- These quests are the second and fourth quests in a series of tutorial quests around Korthos Village.
- There are many people that can bestow these quests but the dialogue and outcome are always the same.
- The equivalent tutorial quest for The Cannith Crystal is called Vector: The Cannith Crystal.
