Thanks for updating the wiki! Here are a few comments that can make your contributions even more valuable:

  • We are usually using png and jpg pictures. (This is probably some DDOwiki policy, written down somewhere.)
  • I usually use png for the item description and jpg for item shown. (This is my preference, not a policy iirc.)
  • As for pic names, we have this obscure policy, Naming_policy#File_Naming_-_Item_Pages. TL;DR: Carnifex.png and Carnifex shown.jpg.
  • The item description pictures look best at 420 pixel width. I usually crop background and then add a bit of white space on the sides.
  • I have written down this simple 25 step procedure for preparing nice item description pictures which is definitely not a policy but perhaps might be helpful: link.
