Reaper math[edit]

I am wondering if the reaper debuff math couldn't be simplified to 10 / (12 + n*(n+1)/2 ). Where n*(n+1)/2 is sum of integers less or equal to skull level n. This would match your progression until skull 9 and 10. How exact were your high skull tests? -- Cru121 (ContribsMessage) 02:58, December 2, 2021 (EST)

Yeah I was wrong. I looked at the data and apparently at skulls 9 and 10, the divisor increases by 8 only, not 9 and 10 as expected from the progression.

[edit]

Ah, I actually copy-pasted the wrong equation for that one! The multipliers in the table are correct, but I accidentally repeated the equation from the increased monster damage table. I meant to put 20/(n^2 + n + 24) which is indeed equivalent to what you have. (And that's why I also put down the linear equation, which you noticed for when the divisor just increases by 8.)
