Patron faction
A patron, sometimes referred to as a "faction" or "patron faction", refers to one of 18 organizations in the DDO world from which you can gain its favor by successfully completing quests, gaining more favor at higher quest-difficulty. Patrons and Favor are more thoroughly discussed in that article.
