Location: Korthos Village, Sivur stands next to his Pet Construct facing the entrance to the Korthos Island wilderness area. There is one class trainer of every class residing in Korthos Village.

Notes: Unlike most other class trainers in Korthos Village, Sivur cannot bestow or act as a contact for any of the Korthos Tutorial Quests. This makes the quest Tutorial: How to advance your character unobtainable and uncompletable for Artificer characters.

If you have not talked to your Class Trainer, you are a Druid or Artificer, or if there is no quest available in the Korthos tutorial quest series:

  • Sivur Armund: This world is but a great machine powered by magic. I can see magic's secret patterns and forge them into wonderous[sic] constructs and powerful spells.
    • You: Spend action points on enhancements.
      • Sivur Armund: (if you have no Artificer levels) You cannot read the patterns of magic as I can. My lessons would only confuse you further.
      • Sivur Armund: (if you have at least one Artificer level) (open Enhancement Panel)
    • You: Advance to the next level as a artificer.
      • Sivur Armund: (if you have no Artificer levels) Are you certain that you wish to multiclass into the artificer class? If you are currently on a path, you will leave it by doing so.
        • You: Yes, I still wish to train with you.
          • Sivur Armund: (if your intelligence is less than 16) I must warn you that your intelligence is too low to cast the highest level artificer spells. You need an intelligence of at least 16 to cast 6th level artificer spells, though you do have some time until it becomes an issue. Do you still wish to train?
            • You: Yes, I still wish to train with you.
              • Sivur Armund: (if you don't have enough XP to level up) You do not have enough experience to advance.

      • Sivur Armund: (if you have at least one Artificer level) You can reset your enhancements in any public area by opening up your Enhancement Panel (Ctrl-R) and choose to Reset Tree or Reset All Trees.
    • You: Reset my pet's enhancements.
      • Sivur Armund: (if your Iron Defender is not summoned) You must summon your pet before we can train it.
      • Sivur Armund: (if you do not have at least 10xlevel platinum) (display not enough platinum warning)

        • You: What sort of weapons should an artificer use?
          • Sivur Armund: Artificers have the ability to use repeating crossbows, which can be very effective at a distance. Always keep a melee weapon on hand as well, though, since ranged weapons are less effective when an enemy is close by.
          • Sivur Armund: And never forget that ultimately your best weapons are the magic spells that you know. Whether it's healing your pet or shocking your enemy, magic is your key to victory!

          • Sivur Armund: Runic Armaments are devices that let you accumulate magical charge and fire it off in blasts of energy. Different rune arms have different blast patterns, so experiment to find the one you like the most.
          • Sivur Armund: You can accumulate energy while performing most other actions, and you can only charge past a certain stable tier while standing still.
          • Sivur Armund: (By default the Alt key will begin charging or fire your rune arm.)
        • You: Tell me how to best use my pet construct.
          • Sivur Armund: Pick enhancements that improve your pet, and don't forget that you can equip it with a docent that can improve its abilities.
          • Sivur Armund: Be sure to heal your pet as well. Your pet can't defend you if you don't keep it up and running!
