I had a question, Does Luck stack, I know you can add +2 luck to epic items, and I was wondering if by augmenting all my gear with luck would i be able to take my saves, umd and all skills up by around 20ish through this? Also, question 2, Does Luck have any effect on Chest loot, scroll drop rates etc, and what percentage if any does it add to these drop rates per 1 luck.? TY in advance. No, Luck bonus's do not stack (atleast currently), and does nothing but raise your skills and saves. Yawgmoth 00:56, August 11, 2011 (EDT)

Luck +1 will stack with Luck +2 for a max of Luck +3 if memory serves.. Also, it raises skills, saves, attack, and damage unless I am mistaken.. ShoeMaker 01:22, August 11, 2011 (EDT)

Nah luck bonuses do not stack at all. They work like morale bonuses or any other type besides dodge/untyped/exceptional.

Exactly what they effect depends on the source tho, that can vary. Good Luck, say on an epic item, or various named items provides a bonus to saves and skills. Either +1 or +2 currently. While Prayer provides a +1 luck bonus on attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saves, and skill checks, , while each of your foes takes a -1 penalty on such rolls.

So if you wearing and epic item with good luck +2 like i usually do. Prayer actaully only increases attack rolls and damage rolls.

However prayer also debuffs your enemies for the same effects. But debuffs don't work like buffs, debuffs always stack with very few exceptions. (tho I can't think of another source of luck debuffs to test that) → Shade 01:36, August 11, 2011 (EDT)
