Talk:Least Dragonmark of Making

From DDO wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

As of U12.2, the Crafting XP for shards seems to be calculated after the Dragonmark level adjustment, so a character with a Dragonmark of Making gets less experience (but has a greater chance of success) than a character of the same base crafting level without the Dragonmark.

With a Crafting XP 0/0/0 (no shards ever created, no items ever deconstructed) character, the Superior Nihil 2 shard is level 11 and gives 22 XP. With the Least Dragonmark of Making the shame shard gives 17 XP (also for 0/0/0 crafting XP).

Apparently this is in contrast to how Artificer crafting bonuses work, but maybe that should be checked again to make sure it hasn't changed.
