Talk:Old 'In Development'

Can we have the In Development page looked at? Old amendments dating back well over 5 years now are still apparent I'm fairly certain (although not stating fact) that these are no longer being looked at, unless they are very VERY long term in development still and are indeed in the works still, although I would find that hard to believe. I don't know the process for sifting this information, just I notice it frequently and always think 'whys that still there?'

Thanks. → Agonshar (ContributionsMessage) 08:57, November 12, 2013 (EST)

yeah, In Dev page is hard to maintain and tack records. kinda related, i heard a complaint last night from a player "there was a info on a planned 38 point build implementation, where did it go?" thing (it was on Glin's first Epic TR proposal and got scratched at some point?) maybe we should do "In Dev Patch 21 edition" style editing or at least "the latter 2013 edition" or something. would like to hear thoughts from other editors as well in this regard, any thoughts? → yoko5000 (ContributionsMessage) 09:51, November 12, 2013 (EST)

I also read that information a while back and can confirm it was public, but your meaning isn't missed, categories on this page, EG: Update 21 DEV, Update 22 DEV seem very appropriate and would allow for the right information to be collated and amended as time goes by instead of just listing quotes - which usually inevetably tend to lead to people stating facts about them. Categories for the updates seem the right way forward and can then be amended as information gets nearer to release.

I don't know if this is definately the ideal scenario but it would at least be an improvement on the current display of information and I'm sure that almost all players using the wiki check In Development to see if anything new has surfaced, possibly an archive too once Updates become public, unknown if that is correct.→ Agonshar (ContributionsMessage) 10:07, November 12, 2013 (EST)

After requesting feedback from a few different major contributors and admins I did not receive any objections to updating the page at all and have gone ahead and revamped it to be in line with the other wiki categorised pages we already have. I'm sure everyone will like - I do but then I'm biased as I created it haha. Agonshar (ContributionsMessage) 10:07, November 12, 2013 (EST)
