Template talk:Itemweapon

Completed task - Look into adding more fields to the ItemWeapon template (exotic/simple/martial proficiency type, 1 handed vs. 2 handed, etc) to cover some of the data important to the weapon but not currently shown (Dedridd). Completed by Koolkat.

New parameters[edit]

One question. Are crossbows considered two handed weapons in DDO? I'm not sure what to put down for the 'hand' parameter for them. Dedridd 13:24, February 21, 2006 (PST)

Both bows and crossbows are only usable with two hands so I would classify them as a two handed weapon. Unlike two handed melee weapons you dont get to add one and a half your strength bonus into your damage, but thats more because your strength bonus doesnt reflect in your damage at all, unless you are a ranger. -- koolkat 15:23, February 21, 2006 (PST)
