Tips and Misc

• A ritual being performed by a local cell of Agents of Argonessen has gone... a bit wrong. Now there's a Dragon with the mind of a cat running around the back streets of Stormreach, and the Agents have asked you to retrieve it before something goes horribly wrong.
• After speaking to Maximillian and Olivia, head North through the alleyways, fighting off hired thugs as you go.
• Speak to Melanie Teleth and fight off another wave of thugs that sneak in through the dairy's doors after you.
• In the next area is a metal gate that raises when you kill all nearby enemies. Through a door next to this gate is the first optional boss, Felix Firebrand.
• Now speak to the Cannith Artificer and head East. There's another metal gate nearby with a door to an armory – this contains the second optional boss, Renfroe Rex.
  • Behind a secret door in the next area and a couple of traps, you can speak to Murph the polymorphed rat. He's the only polymorphed creature in this quest who isn't really interested in fighting you, so he clears off sharpish after your conversation.
• After speaking to the Weaver, interact with the giant ball of yarn. A sudden crash startles you, sending the yarn rolling down another alleyway and knocking several hired toughs flat in the process.
• Now, pull the lever on the nearby Artificer's Device and head inside the courtyard to activate the Milk Fountain.
• You are confronted by a final group of toughs lead by a Mimic – actually a former associate of Argonessen, polymorphed into a monster from stealing from an entire nation of Dragons. He's engineered this situation to ruin Argonessen's reputation in Stormreach – apparently unconcerned about the entire city his petty little plan is going to flatten.
  • A party member needs to speak to Gerald to trigger the final battle.
• Gerald teleports away after you bring him to zero health, allowing you to placate the cat-turned-Dragon by playfully scratching it under its chin. It's been... an odd adventure, this one.

Development and Release

This quest was announced in 2023 PAX East. It has been developed live, weekly, on the DDOstream on Twitch.tv channel and archived on YouTube: The Joy of Deving with Bob Hess. It was released with Update 65 in December of 2023.
