If you try to talk to him, he will reply:
- Brother Augustus: May the Flame guide you, <race>.
- Brother Augustus: You are familiar with the Church of the Silver Flame, are you not? -- Ah, it matters not. I can tell that you are a person of character.
- Brother Augustus: The Church could use someone like you.
- You: What can I do for the Silver Flame?
- Brother Augustus: The Flame has helped end gambling in Stormreach, stopping the corruptive influence of this vice.
- Brother Augustus: The old gambling houses are now closed... but imagine our surprise when a gang of criminals opened up a new Gambler's Den near the Wayward Lobster here in the Harbor!
- Brother Augustus: I would like you to go there and shut them down. Destroy their gambling tables, and make the criminals pay for their sins!
- You: I will see it done. (Bestow quest)
- You: Tell me about the Silver Flame
- Brother Augustus: The Church of the Silver Flame upholds all that is decent in Eberron. Some may resent our uncompromising tactics, but without the exorcists of the Church, the corrupting forces of Xen'drik would long ago have overrun Stormreach.
- You: What can I do for the Silver Flame?
Talking to him after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make he say:
- Brother Augustus: You must go to the Gambler's Den near the Leaky Dinghy, here in the Harbor. Destroy the gambling tables inside and make the criminals pay with their lives!
On completion of quest, he will congratulate you with the following:
- Brother Augustus: My informants report that the gambling den has been demolished, and its denizens killed or scattered to the winds. Congratulations on a job well done, <name>.
- You: Anything to bring the Silver Flame's light to those in darkness.
After completing the quest and taking the reward, if you talk to him again, he will reply:
- Brother Augustus: You have been of great service to the Church of the Silver Flame.
- Brother Augustus: The Gambler's Den is in shambles. I doubt that anyone else will be tempted into such vice anytime soon. Praise the Flame!
