Bonus types and stacking[edit]

When you browse the boards there is a lot of confusion about bonus types and stacking. The descriptions of most items in the game are very short. Especially because they often don't include detailled stacking information. A +1 Consitution cloak and a +1 consitution belt don't stack for example. Rather than sticking to the original description we should try to name bonuses when possible. The constitution bonus probably is an "enhancement bonus to ability scores" and the fortitude bonus a "resistance bonus to saving throws" (pnp). When you open your character menu it sometimes gives a bit more detailed information about equipped items (tooltip info). If the information is provided there we can include it in the descriptions. Some bonuses are just named "misc. bonus" though. Do we already have a page of all bonus types used in DDO? If not it would be good to create one.--Ziu 03:36, March 10, 2006 (EST)

This should all be explained in the Stack page, and yes it would be really useful. Tihocan 10:30, March 10, 2006 (EST)
