Talk:Barbarian Ravager AC?

Hi there! Im building a Dwarf Barbarian full Con style, and im thinking to take the Heavy Armor Prof, (i will do 20lvl barb), but looking at the Ravager tree i think that the low AC you have the better. Because if you take your AC at high, only badasses will hit you (by now at low levels i think), and will not produce the bonuses from being hit with great frequency. So if you stay at a low AC, every mob will hit you, assuming that the damage they do is not hight, yours enhacements bonus will work betters and than you will spam temporary HP with (i like pain) at a low cost of taking weaker damages from weak foes. And kill faster with Do You Like Pain and I Hit Back...

Ravager enhacements that will benefit low AC: Do You Like Pain? -> I Like Pain -> I Hit Back!

Sooo its better to use light armor, medium?, at all or just robes and clothes? Even no armor?

Am i losing something? (Sorry the bad english)

TY!

  • Hi, here are some arguments against heavy armor. (1) Greater Rage grants +10 PRR for medium armor users. (2) Barbarians don't get any bonus feats. (3) Medium armor allows more Dodge. Dodge is good. In general, you don't want to get hit, even as a barbarian. -- Cru121 (ContribsMessage) 02:28, June 13, 2018 (EDT)
