Talk:Editing pages seems to be broken

After I had done a minor edit to a page it said "please enter the two words you see in the box below (to prove this isn't spam or something) and....there was no box with ....2 words....below. All it had below was the editing box with ....hundreds of words and symbols. This effectively makes it impossible to edit pages, at least for me. And I agree with the post below that says the captcha is annoying. It's double annoying when it asks you for captcha and .....doesn't show you the captcha box, even after hitting refresh 10x. I don't have the greatest eyesight, and I have a real problem reading distorted letters and about 90% of the captchas I can't even read, so sometimes i have to cycle through about 20-40 captchas to find one that I can read usually. The sound captcha is even worse.

Unfortunately, the captcha we use is the exact same one thats used by 90% of the internet as a way to prevent robots. If you dont see the captcha box, that means you have something disabled (using no-script, or some other blocking software). While I agree sometimes captcha is flawed (I've had it ask me for korean characters, next to a russian word), it does work... Yawgmoth ( IRCMessage ) 00:04, May 12, 2012 (EDT)
I have recently made an exception to the DDO_wiki:Ddowikivip promotional requirement of triple digit edits for another individual that claims to have vision problems and troubles with the CAPTCHA... He made his claim and continued to attempt (at least a few successful) to make edits anyways. This demonstrates a good-faith attempt and as positive reinforcement, I granted him skip captcha with only about a metric dozen edits. I offer you the same.
