Delete[edit]

This should not be a template. — Zav(C·T·E) 23:04, October 13, 2014 (EDT)

  • Support deletion at this time, but we should good the creator a few days to explain why it should be kept. I could see it evolving into a useful template for a single use. ShoeMaker (Contributions Message) 23:16, October 13, 2014 (EDT)
  • Don't Mind deletion. I see how a template should probably be reserved for repeated use over single use. I just thought it would be nice to have a long popup with the buff description. I suppose the template could be created to be a repository for mob centric buffs, named to something not so specific and accept a parameter specifying each individual buff, but as this page exists in its current form it doesn't really fit that schema. — Wamba (ContributionsMessage) 01:13, October 15, 2014 (EDT)
  • Is the template namespace the only problem with this page? Would it be appropriate for a non-template namespace page to be used to provide long popup functionality on other pages?  — Wamba (ContributionsMessage) 02:58, October 15, 2014 (EDT)
  • You don't need a template (or another page) to have a popup on a page. You can just use T:Popup/T:Long popup directly. See Empowered Devotee. Templates are for repeated use, e.g. Item description templates for items. If multiple monsters had the same quality then making a template might make sense. — Zav(C·T·E) 07:22, October 15, 2014 (EDT)
  • The biggest problem I see at the moment is that the template isn't used anywhere. I can imagine two or three pages it could be used on, but that's not enough to justify a template in my opinion and on those pages it could be subst: (will put the code of the template on the page directly) and then deleted. I'd be happy to subst: it for you on appropriate pages. I'm thinking Empowered Devotee and The Mark of Death at least, don't these mobs also show up in ghosts or something? Anyways... Get back to me and I'll take care of it. ShoeMaker (Contributions Message) 07:39, October 15, 2014 (EDT)
