Update 61 Named Items

... Thank you. Question can the link to Update 61 Named items be changed to the actual named items and a link there be to Visuals? Also I get an extended wait when loading the Visuals and Named Items

• Hello! PurpleSerpent here. I'm one of the other sysops here on the wiki, so if Tech isn't available to help you with something, there's a fair chance I will be.

First, a couple of general tips: when asking a general question like this, it's best to put it on the Discord or the talk page of a related page, to increase the chances of someone seeing it. We don't often check other user's talk pages. Also, it helps if you can put ~~~~ at the end of each comment you make; that auto-signs your post for you, so we can tell who said what and when.

That said, let's talk about your question. What's going on here is a problem with page include size. MediaWiki won't allow a page to load completely if it's more than about 2GB in size - at that point, it starts leaving templates off the page. This is what was going on with the original version of the Update 61 named items page, which was trying to show a 2.2GB list - to be able to show the page, the software replaced it with a link.

I've streamlined things a bit so the list is now only about 1.1GB, so it should be working now. It's still on the limit of what the wiki can show, though, so there might still be a bit of a wait for the page to load.

• • Correct, the best way to get quick answers to questions (I only look on wiki once in a while these days, even when I'm editing pages regularly) is to pop over to DDOwiki on Discord.
