Wrong edit[edit]

Hey, looks like you put something in the wrong place ;) See this: http://en.ddowiki.ws/Talk:Home/Editors -- Tihocan 10:04, January 26, 2006 (PST)

I thought that if something is maked with read-color you could put a article/post about that subject.

So I put a some info about multiclassing as the multiclassing link was read. But I guy how made the first page that the post was linked from obvious had thought to fill that with something else. (As he deleted my post and added some other content).

Does it work like that: The person that has done the main page has the right do deside what content there should be in the page he links to?

Just so I don't put work in doing things at the "wrong place any more".

I'm not sure to really understand. In the page you modified (http://en.ddowiki.ws/Home/Editors), you talk about wizards and sorcerors, not multiclassing. Now, the question is: why talking about this in a page named 'Home/Editors'? It looks like you made a mistake here (maybe clicked on the wrong link before editing?). So we (= the wiki admins) would like you to put this content where it should be (up to you to decide, but it should be a coherent choice). Also, as far as I can see, nobody deleted your post there. However, someone did rewrite the multiclassing page you had started to include more details and stuff. This is to be expected on a wiki: everyone is welcome to improve on something that someone else had previously written. Last point: please try to pay more attention to your written English, I found lots of typos in your edits, and it takes time for other people to fix them. Thank you! -- Tihocan 08:38, January 29, 2006 (PST)
P.S. Don't let jim get to ya - editing is good! We all make mistakes (pah!) but just keep it up - if something needs to be moved, somebody'll do it sooner or later; if nobody notices, then it probably dosen't need to be moved (-; (post by Peerless - see his talk and contribs.) 12:18, January 29, 2006 (PST)
Methinks Naryas' native language isnt english and this is where the problem lies. I mean no one would confuse read with red three times in one sentence. I had to reread it three times to understand what it meant. I still find it easier to fix broken english and misspellings than to create my own content. -- koolkat 16:44, January 29, 2006 (PST)
Exactly my feelings on the matter! (-: (post by Peerless - see his talk and contribs.) 16:45, January 29, 2006 (PST)
Ah sorry if it sounded like I didn't want you to make edits, of course not! Just to try to pay more attention to typos, if you can. If you can't, well I guess somebody will do it for you ;) -- Tihocan 18:14, January 29, 2006 (PST)

Spell schools[edit]

Hey, I noticed you're making a bunch of pages like evocation school, necromancy school... etc. Why not just fix up the current evocation, and necromancy pages if you don't like them, and redirect "evocation school" to "evocation"... etc --Uky 17:38, February 5, 2006 (PST)

Well there where no like to those pages from the Sorcerer page so I didn't realize they existed. //Naryas
Hehe, well sometimes people go in and accidentally link a phrase instead of the whole word... not a big deal. It's good see if a similar page exists in search before making a new one. --Uky 11:55, February 6, 2006 (PST)
Uky, I tried to do what you asked med to. Started with necro. But additional info I mad on you page you hade made was taken a way buy someone else. ^^ (reverting to your original version).//Naryas
Hey mate, you can (and should) sing your talk posts with four tildes (~~~~) - much more sensible and followable. Also, indent your repied with colons (::::) however many the last person had plus one for yours. Thanks! Anyway, I don't understand what happened. Who removed the info? You should look at the page history and see if it was an anonymous user - if so, then just revert it. but if it was a registered user with a name, then you should leave a note on their talk page so they can explain themselves. (post by Peerless - see his talk and contribs.) 22:15, February 10, 2006 (PST)
Thanks, Peerless --Naryas (will edit with :: now :) ) is tildes
Tildes cause this: "(post by Peerless - see his talk and contribs.) 23:47, February 10, 2006 (PST)" - your name with a link to your user page, and a date. Use the ~~~~ exactly like that to do it at the end of your comments (-: (post by Peerless - see his talk and contribs.) 23:47, February 10, 2006 (PST)
Thanks again didn't know that ~ was tildes Naryas 05:28, February 11, 2006 (PST)
P.S. if you go to your preferences (Special:preferences) and set your nickname to "//Naryas" then it will do what you want more (-: (post by Peerless - see his talk and contribs.) 17:47, February 11, 2006 (PST)
