Village of Tanaroa
Protected by the sea and a vast, ancient wall, this village has been a safe haven for the islanders for over a hundred years. Yet they stay alert - there will always be some new threat against their hard-won peace.
Village of Tanaroa is a city zone within the Isle of Dread wilderness adventure area.
Points of Interest[edit]
- Entrance to the southern Isle of Dread (wilderness) (the section you wash up in after completing Captive of the Hidden God)
- Entrance to the northern Isle of Dread (wilderness) (the section with all the quests and rare encounters)
- Exit to the Harbor or Guild Airships (several distributed over the Village)

- Bug: Under certain conditions, Oksi may refuse to grant his quest chain until you undergo Reincarnation. It is known that this will happen if you teleport to Tanaroa before entering it via Captive of the Hidden God, and then proceed to claim Curses of the Kopru from Mira of the Hawk before speaking to him. It remains unclear if this can happen if you enter Tanaroa via Captive of the Hidden God first, but in the meantime always claim the chain from Oksi before speaking to Mira.
- If this does end up happening, at least one forum user has reported being able to claim his chain reward by completing all quests in Isle of Adventure and speaking to him again. It is unclear if this still works, and if it will fix the issue for that life.[Unverified"If this does end up happening, at least one forum user has reported being able to claim his chain reward by completing all quests in Isle of Adventure and speaking to him again.
