What to Expect

Pillar jumping (can be bypassed)

Known Traps

• Fire traps on the pillars in the water/pillar room (they look like oil gushers spouting from the tops of the pillars)
  • Disabled by turning the wheels in the same room to the symbols that can be found earlier.
    • The wheels give an audible gong when they lock into the correct symbol
  • You can take damage even in the water below, if you are close to the pillars
• Blades around Lever, after underwater passage swim: cannot be disarmed
• Secret door DC

Tips and Misc

• Column Jumping Bypass

1. Beneath the columns (north wall) is an underwater passageway that leads to a hidden cavern.
2. Here is a trapped lever (guarded) that drops a ladder in the column cavern; this allows the column jumping to be bypassed.

Secret Doors:

• After taking north passage from the entrance, secret door on north wall at the hairpin corner
  • Mnelet can be found just beyond this secret door
    • Pulling Mnelet away from his room helps to separate him from his supporting mobs of crayfish. It also yielded an additional chest on Leg Elite.

Wheels:

• Red: blue diamond
• Yellow: red star
• Blue: white triangle

Psele encounter can be challenging on higher difficulties as Psele is a big 'ol bag of HP, has high AC (a modified to hit roll <130 on LE was a grazing hit), does reasonable damage (up to 200 on LE) and has many supporting bullywugs which appear to continue respawn while he is alive. He is also supported by several shamans that rain fire down on you frequently. Pulling him out of the room into the shrine room can buy you some time to deal with mobs after they spawn.
