Talk:Energy Drain

Disambiguation[edit]

Empirically, most links to "Energy Drain" do, in fact, refer to this spell. However, not uncommonly, they refer instead to the broader negative level or Energy Drained effects. I'm inclined to rename this page "Energy Drain (spell)", redirect "Energy Drain" here, and add text along the lines of: Energy Drain redirects here. For the condition, see Energy Drained. For the broader usage, see negative level. Thoughts? Hoopy Froodle (ContribsMessage) 11:47, May 28, 2019 (EDT)

Does the text "Energy Drained" actually appear in game, in your debuff bar? Or is it just called negative level? I don't recall.
  • IF energy drained does not appear in game, perhaps keep Energy Drain and Negative level, and redirect Energy Drained to Negative level? (+merge any interesting info from Energy Drained to neg level.)
  • IF energy drained does appear in game as a condition, we should keep it. In this case, I'd keep all articles as is, maybe shuffle stuff between Energy Drained and Negative level, so that we don't have duplicate information; probably keeping Energy Drained short and pointing to neglevel for additional information. -- Cru121 (ContribsMessage) 03:36, May 29, 2019 (EDT)
Hmm, good point. I'll have to figure out a way to test in-game, or just wait for it to happen organically (as it were). Hoopy Froodle (ContribsMessage) 10:28, May 29, 2019 (EDT)
