The Fallen

From DDO wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The Fallen are a team of highly unscrupulous mercenaries from the City of Sharn. First encountered in Masterminds of Sharn, the Fallen were initially in the employ of Vaunt Arcanotechnic before splitting with the company shortly before Lucian Vaunt's death by Forgewraith in Reach for the Sky.

Now pursuing their own goals (at least after a final attempt to steal the Stormreach Beacon), the Fallen assaulted a House Cannith vault in an attempt to steal the mysterious Project: NEMESIS. With the exception of Helga Omenbus, the group were defeated and arrested by the Brelish intelligence agency known as the King's Dark Lanterns. By the time of Eye Know Whodunnit, however, Zulkis Crowspire appears to have escaped, and the group may be active again.

Members[edit]

  • Qaspiel Mistwalker, Radiant Idol. Original leader of the Fallen.
  • Zulkis Crowspire, Tiefling. A powerful spellcaster with a talent for conjuration. Following his escape, appears to have taken Qaspiel Mistwalker's place as leader.
  • Irk, Goblin. An abrasive assassin with a penchant for explosives.
  • Gish Helion, Gnoll. The leader of a small pack of allied Gnolls. Highly unstable.
  • Rudus Caskrage, Minotaur. Killed during the final confrontation in Reach for the Sky; raised as an Undead by the time of Project Nemesis, and none too happy about it.
  • Helma Omenbus, Gnome. An ingenious Artificer. Prefers to let her Worker Constructs do the fighting for her.

Known Allies[edit]

  • The Emissary, Horned Devil. The devil that Qaspiel Mistwalker formed a pact with, quite possibly leading to his fall.
  • Dannis Derpenshire, Radiant Idol. Construction site supervisor and part-time cult leader in Stormreach. If the party confront him, Zulkis appears to bail him out.

Trivia[edit]

Members of the Fallen are often (although not always, as Masterminds of Sharn is inconsistent about naming them) shown with the text "The Fallen (200)" as a tag in their name. This is a reference to DDO's Guild Level system, with 200 being the highest level possible.
